Protecting and educating vulnerable children from low socioeconomic background

The Fountain of Life Children’s Center Started In 1993
Children and families from the poor regions of Thailand as well as neighboring countries of the Mekong Region, migrate to Pattaya in search of employment. Through love & education, the FOLC is able to break the cycle of extreme poverty & give them hope for the future.
The problem of high income inequality creates problems for children from poor families. Parents lack understanding and knowledge on raising children and mainly work to earn money. Especially a group of immigrants, both Thais and foreigners, flock to Pattaya in search of a better life.
These immigrant workers faced difficulties accessing education due to problems with household expenses, insufficient income to meet expenses coupled with the rising cost of living; including the absence of documents such as a birth certificate, being a stateless person or without civil registration status, lack of passports, etc., resulting in these children unable to attend the public school system or study in the normal system. These groups of children need to be rescued and their rights are protected.
Our main goal
The main goal of our Center is to support and educate less-fortunate children at risk in Pattaya, so they can improve their quality of life, become self-supporting, and be able to adjust themselves to society as well as protect themselves from being victims of violence in any form.
